Ruth Weller is a Scottish Christian leader, speaker, and Bible teacher. She grew up in Edinburgh and began training in international mission at the age of seventeen, spending two years in Christian training and ministry across Hawaii, Thailand, Nepal, and the Philippines.

Ruth later moved to Glasgow where she completed an MA in Philosophy, developing a love for critical thinking and learning from different perspectives. She then spent twelve years serving in local church leadership, including six years as Lead Pastor, where she helped lead the team that planted a new church in a historic building.

After the COVID pandemic, Ruth stepped away from local church leadership and sensed a call to explore ministry in digital spaces. She trained in illustration and digital communication, and then helped launch an online intercession network that grew to over 5,000 people, opening her eyes to the potential of reaching spiritually hungry but often isolated people online.

In 2024 Ruth founded House of Word and Spirit, an online ministry that creates digital content and hosts Zoom-based Bible studies and prayer gatherings to help people encounter God through Scripture and live Spirit-led lives.

In 2026, she also founded Rooftop Media Services, a team of Christian content creators and social media managers helping churches, charities, and Christian initiatives build a meaningful and effective online presence.

Outside of ministry, Ruth runs a home renovation Instagram account called This House of Lions, enjoys climbing Munros, caring for her animals, and spending time with her husband Todd and their two children. She is currently studying for a Master of Applied Biblical Leadership at Western Seminary.
